Cajun Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water (105 degrees F. to 115 degrees F.)
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Grease two large baking sheets; set aside. Disolve yeast in water in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients; blend well. Cover and let rise in warm place, 45 minutes, or until double in bulk. Stir down. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Cover and let rise in warm place, 40 minutes, or until almost double. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. makes 24 biscuits.
