INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter
1/2 to 1 cup onions, chopped
2 cups celery, chopped
4 quarts dry bread, cubed
1 tbs. salt
2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2-1 cup water or giblet broth, to moisten slightly
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt butter, ad onions and celery and cook covered, over low heat until onions and celery are soft. Combine bread cubes and seasonings in large bowl. Add liquid and mix lightly until slightly moistened. (taste to see if it needs more butter or poultry seasoning). Don't stuff turkey until you are ready to roast it in the oven.
