Chestnut Dressing

INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb chestnuts
2 c. dry breadcrumbs
4 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 c. melted butter
1 1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Blanch chestnuts in boiling, salted water. Force through a ricer or coarse food chopper and add to remainder of ingredients. Blend. Use for stuffing bird or bake in greased pan in moderate oven 350 degree for 25 to 30 minutes.
