INGREDIENTS

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
2 cans tomatos, whole, crushed
1 can tomato paste
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. paprika, ground
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. cumin (optional)
1/4 flour
1/2 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

In a saucepan cook and lighly brown ground beef, onions and peppers. Remove excess fat. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes and liquid. Add 2 cups water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in kidney beans and seasonings; cook through. Mix 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 cup water together and add to thicken mixture as needed, only if mixture is to thin. Serve with crackers.
