INGREDIENTS
1 pint oysters, fresh
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 quart milk
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 can whole kernel corn, undrained
1 cup potatoes, cooked, diced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
paprika as garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Drain oysters and reserve liquor. Remove remaining shell particles. In a saucepan, melt butter then add onions and celery. Cook until tender then add oysters and liquor. Cook for 3 minutes or until edges begin to curl. Add milk, corn, salt and pepper. Do not boil. Heat thoroughly. Serve at once. Garnish with paprika.
