INGREDIENTS
1 lb fresh or frozen shrimp
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 slightly beaten egg
1 cup ice water
2 T. salad oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine ingredients, except shrimp; beat. Peel shrimp shells leaving the tail section intact. Dip shrimp into batter and fry in deep hot fat (375-degrees) until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
