Beef with Broccoli

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 lb. tender beef (top sirloin or flank steak)
2 lbs fresh broccoli
1 tsp. beef bouillon
1 1/2 cups stock
3 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. corn starch
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ginger powder
1 clove garlic, crushed
salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut beef into 1/8 inch thin slivers. Clean and cut broccoli into 1/2 inch pieces, then parboil 5 minutes and drain. Mix starch, bouillon and soy sauce in 1/4 cup cold water and set aside. Place oil, salt, pepper, ginger and garlic in hot skillet, add beef, saute 3 minutes, add broccoli, mix well, add all ingredients except starch mixture, keep stirring until juice thickens smoothly. Serves 4.
