INGREDIENTS
3/4 c oil
2 tbsp wine vinegar
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 c Roquefort or blue cheese
1 tbsp onion, grated
3 tbsp cream
1 head lettuce (bite-size pieces), torn
1 c ham, cut in thin strips
2 oz Swiss cheese, cut into thin strips
1 green pepper, cut into rings
3 eggs, hard-boiled, quartered
1/2 c croutons
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine Crisco Oil, vinegar, garlic salt and pepper in deep bowl until thoroughly blended. Mash cheese with grated onion, then mix in cream. Combine oil and cheese mixtures. Beat until thoroughly blended. Chill. (This dressing will harden in the refrigerator but softens at room temperature.)
Arrange chicken, ham and cheese strips on top of torn lettuce. Top with green pepper rings and hard-boiled egg quarters. Sprinkle with croutons and pour dressing over all.
