Marinated Vegetable Salad

INGREDIENTS

1 lg. can cut string beans, drained
1 lg. can waxed beans, drained
1 small can whole kernal corn, drained
1 small can (Leseurs) Eng. Peas, drained
1 small can butter beans (white), drained
1 small jar cut pimiento, drained
1 stalk celery, sliced
1/2 cup chopped onion or 1/2 lg.
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper or 1/2 lg.

PART 2:
2 cups sugar
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

PART 1:
Empty all veg. in colander and drain. Then put in large mixing bowl.


PART 2:
In a boiler mix 2 cups sugar, 1 cup vinegar and 1 cup water and bring to a boil. Mix well and pour boiling juice over vegetables. Then, stir, put in covered dish. Marinate overnight. Keeps for weeks.
