INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup cocoa
2 sticks of margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, separated
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups cake flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp soda
INSTRUCTIONS
Cream egg yolks, margarine, and sugar until light. Add sifted ingredients alternately with 1 cup buttermilk with 1 tsp soda dissolved. Fold beaten egg whites carefully. Bake in layers for 35 minutes at 325 degrees.
