Butter-Nut cake

INGREDIENTS

1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 each eggs
1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
1/2 cup self-rising flour
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp butter and nut flavoring
1 cup milk
FROSTING
1 stick margarine
1 box powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1 Tbsp butter-nut flavoring
1 cup nuts, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Cream shortening with sugar and eggs together at high speed for ten minutes. Add 1 cup flour and beat 1 minute on medium speed. Add flavoring and mix. Bake in 3 layers at 350 degree.
FROSTING: Combine all ingredients as given. Mix, then frost cake.
