INGREDIENTS

8 Milk Way candy bars

1 stick oleo

CREAM MIXTURE:

1 stick oleo

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

SIFT:

2 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp. salt

BUTTERMILK MIXTURE:

1/2 tsp. soda

1 cup buttermilk

ICING:

3 Milky Way candy bars

3 tbsp. sweet milk

1 stick oleo

1 tsp. vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS

Melt in double boiler 8 Milky Way candy bars and 1 stick of oleo.

Cream 1 stick of oleo, 2 cups sugar, 4 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla. Sift 2 1/2 cups flour and 1/2 tsp. salt in a separate bowl. Mix separately 1/2 tsp. soda with 1 cup buttermilk.

Add melted candy bars, oleo and creamed mixture, then add alternately flour and buttermilk mixture. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Bake in 350 degree F. oven for 1 hour in a long pan.
ICING:

Melt Icing ingredients in double boiler - remove from heat and add powdered sugar until desired spreading consistency. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans and spread on top of cake.
