INGREDIENTS

1 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or magarine, melted
2 each eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups flour, sifted
2 1/2 cups oatmeal, finely blended
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 - 6 oz. pecans, chopped (optional)
3 oz. chocolate bar, grated

INSTRUCTIONS

Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar. Blend 2 1/2 cups oatmeal to a powder in a blender. Add and stir together vanilla and eggs. Mix oatmeal, flour, baking powder, soda and salt together and pour into mixture and mix well with a large spoon. Add grated chocolate bar, chocolate chips and chopped pecans. Roll mixture into small balls and place on cookie sheets (two inches apart). Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake cookies 10 to 14 minutes or until done. When done, place cookies on separate plates to cool.
