INGREDIENTS

2 egg whites
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/8 tsp salt
6 T. water
1/4 tsp cream of tartar

INSTRUCTIONS

Boil (covered important) 3 minutes. Put unbeaten eggs in a bowl and 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar then pour syrup over the egg whites, beating with a mixer until the whites stand in peaks.
