INGREDIENTS
1 stick oleo or margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup dates, chopped
1 1/2 cups rice krispies
3/4 cups pecans, chopped
conf. sugar or coconut as needed
INSTRUCTIONS
Melt 1 stick oleo or margarine and 3/4 cup sugar over low heat. Stir in 1 cup chopped dates. Cook 5 to 8 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 1 1/2 cups rice krispies and 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans. Mix well. Roll into small balls and roll these into confect. sugar or coconut.
