INGREDIENTS
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup sel-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
In a saucepan melt 2 sticks of butter and add 6 tablespoons of cocoa and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil; stir together on low heat. Remove from heat when blended well. Add eggs, sugar and vanilla; stir well. Fold in flour. Stir in chopped pecans. Poor into a greased 9 x 6 inch pan and bake at 300 degrees F. for about 45 to 55 minutes. Do not over bake. Take out and cool for about an hour, then cut into squares.
