INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
2 1/2 cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 tbs. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (3 oz.) pkg. ladyfingers, cut in thirds (12)
1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced
3 bananas, sliced
1 (2 oz.) pkg whipped topping mix
1/3 cup toasted angel flake coconut
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine sugar and flour in a 2 qt. saucepan. Slowly stir in milk. Add eggs slowly to mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thick ( do not boil). Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Cool.
Layer cooled custard, ladyfingers, strawberries and bananas in a 2 qt. glass bowl. Chill well. Prepare whipped topping mix according to package directions. Spread topping on pudding, sprinkle with coconut. Make 8 servings.
