Linda's Pecan Pie

INGREDIENTS

1 unbaked 9" pastry shell
½ cup sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup yellow label syrup, dark
1 tbsp. Butter, melted
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 ½ cup pecan, pieces (plus 6 half pieces)
1/4 tsp. Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine flour and butter; mix until smooth. Stir in eggs. Add vanilla, salt, sugar, and syrup. Sprinkle pecan pieces in pie shell; pour syrup mixture carefully over pecans. Arrange the 6 half pieces over the top. Bake in preheated 400 degree F. oven for 10 minutes to 15 minutes or until done.
